RENAULT ACCOMODATES MORE TRAFIC IN TOP SELLING VAN

Renault Australia has expanded its Trafic range with the addition of a new ‘Crew’ variant, increasing its passenger limit to six people.

The Crew comes in a base model, with an optional premium pack, and Lifestyle model.

According to Renault’s senior model line manager for LCVs Lyndon Healy, the new offering makes the Trafic even more practical.

“The Trafic Crew brings another level of functionality to what is already a highly capable and increasingly popular alternative to more mainstream mid-size van offerings,” Healy said.

“The Trafic Crew is perfect for customers looking for a dual-purpose vehicle that’s equally capable of carrying people or payload. There’s as much space behind the rear seats as you’ll find in a Kangoo Maxi.”

The new Trafic Crew and Crew Lifestyle are available on long wheel base (LWB) twin-turbo variants.

The Crew starts from $42,990 and adds dual glazed sliding side doors, a glazed bulkhead behind the second row, two 49 litre rear seat storage boxes and additional seat storage pockets, a 12V accessory socket, anti-slip flooring and door and roof trimming to the standard Trafic.

A further $2,490 for the Premium Pack sees the addition of 17 inch ‘Cyclade’ alloy wheels, deadlocking system and anti-theft spare wheel holder, multimedia system with seven-inch touchscreen, Arkamys audio system and built-in satellite navigation, heavy duty 800A battery, dark cloth upholstery, premium dashboard, heated driver seat (plus passenger where single passenger seat specified), body coloured bumpers, mirrors, rear light surround and slide door rail.

Meanwhile the Crew Lifestyle comes in at $46,780 and includes Dual glazed sliding side doors with opening windows, body coloured mirrors, rear light surround and slide door rail, chrome front grille highlights and gloss black Renault logo surround, proximity key and climate control.
