GARY BONE IN RETURN TO MACK TRUCKS

Volvo  Group  has announced the replacement for Dean Bestwick as vice president of sales for Mack in Australia, with the surprise return of Gary Bone to the company.

Gary Bone returns to the Volvo Group after almost six years as managing director of farm machinery company, Chesterfield Australia, and will start in his new role at Mack on the 2nd March. .

As revealed in Truck and Bus News two weeks ago, current VP of sales for Mack, Dean Bestwick, has taken up a role with the Volvo Group in the USA, where he will become regional vice president Northeast Region for Mack Trucks.

Gary Bone  spent 16 years with Mack and  VGA from 1997, working in a number of roles, including two years in the USA for Mack, before assuming the position of senior vice president of Mack Trucks Australia from 2005 to 2008, and as vice president of Volvo Trucks Australia from 2009 to 2013,  when he was responsible for sales and brand management for the Swedish brand in the Oceania region, in a time in which a new range of models was introduced to the market.
