Melbourne based Prestige Hino has claimed back-to-back dealer of the year awards, recognising the top performing sales outlets in the network.

Newcastle Hino claimed the regional dealer of the year prize, picking up the gong for the third time in four years.

According to Prestige Hino dealer principal Angelo Valerio, the award is the direct result of the work his team always puts in.

“We are honoured and delighted to win this award for the second consecutive year – every single member of our team continues to go above and beyond to deliver exceptional results for our customers, the dealership and Hino, and this award recognises all of their hard work,” Valerio said.

Prestige Hino also took out the Financial Services award.

Hino introduced a new award for customer satisfaction this year, going to CMI Hino Adelaide, Vanderfield Hino in Toowoomba and Barry Maney Hino in Mt Gambier.

CMI Hino Melbourne was also recognised for 25 years of service to the Hino brand, making it one of the longest-serving Hino dealerships in Australia.

Hino Motor Sales Australia Chairman and CEO Steve Lotter says despite the challenges in 2016, the brand’s dealers are still performing at the top level.

“Hino dealerships continue to demonstrate their commitment to customers and the Hino brand – we are confident that 2017 will be another exciting and rewarding year for Hino dealers,” he said.
