In an unusual move leading Australian specialised  truck body manufacturer and supplier STG Global has selected the Hino 700 Series as its preferred heavy-duty truck partner.

Normally its truck makers selecting body builders but this time STG has picked Hino as its preferred partner int he heavy duty realm

STG Global assembles truck bodies used across industries such as construction, mining, waste management, infrastructure, and utilities with a focus on practical design, durability, and reliability as a specialised truck manufacturing business, .

STG Global CEO James Agius said there is a natural affinity with Hino’s manufacturing philosophy of quality, durability and reliability.

“For STG Global, Hino offers a broad range of Euro 6 emissions compliant heavy-duty trucks in Australia for the applications we produce, including vacuum trucks, water carts and tilt trays,” Agius said.

“The Hino 700 Series range has been proven in the Australian market since 2021 and delivers STG and our customers with outstanding performance, safety and driver comfort.,” he added.

“The variety of models available provides us with significant flexibility to meet our customers’ expectations,” continued Agius.

“Most importantly, we have been impressed with the level of support from Hino Australia and its extensive dealership network.

“The decision to partner with Hino was also a logical choice given our parent company, Kyokuto Kaihatsu Kogyo, is one of Japan’s most respected specialised truck manufacturers and has a long-standing relationship with Hino at a global level,” he said.

President and CEO of Hino Australia Richard Emery is enthusiastic about the partnership:
