Volvo Bus Australia welcomes new Technical and Bodybuild Support Manager

Along with the announcement that David Mead would take over temporary responsibility as general manager of Volvo Bus Australia following Lauren Downs elevation to vice president of UD Trucks, the company has also announced a significant new appointment, with Mark Fryer being an announced as Volvo Bus Australia’s new technical and bodybuild support manager.

The role will see Mark Fryer providing instrumental bodybuild technical, quality, and project support to the company’s engineering and aftersales team.

 Mark joined Volvo Bus Australia last week and comes with a wealth of industry experience and knowledge, having worked for bodybuilder Volgren for the past 15 years, He has developed exceptional skills within the bus industry, where he has built and maintained exceptional relationships with key stakeholders and played a significant role in servicing customers.

His most recent role as production supervisor with Volgren saw him overseeing the management of production at their Melbourne facility.

Mark will working alongside Dean Moule, engineering and electromobility product manager at Volvo Bus Australia.
