BAPCOR ANNOUNCES NEW GM OF COMMERCIAL VEHICLE OPERATIONS

Automotive aftermarket company Bapcor Ltd has announced a new  general manager for its commercial vehicle group with the appointment of  Guy Nicholls to the role.

Bapcor said that Nicholls brings more than 30 years of experience in the automotive industry, including senior positions with Ryco, RPM and Repco to his new role.

It said  that Nicholls  will joins  the companynext month and will lead its Truckline, Wano, Diesel Drive and Emax brands as they continue to evolve.

Nicholls was previously managing director for Asia Pacific at Australian-born water filtration and hot-water systems manufacturer Billi.

Prior to that  he  was CEO of listed auto parts group RPM Automotive Group and general manager of  Oceania for irrigation specialist Rain Bird Corporation.

In his career, he has also been general manager of commercial for Redarc Electronics, and general manager for brand at GPC Asia Pacific; as well as GM  of operations at Repco Autoparts.
