HINO HANDS OUT ITS OSCARS FOR DEALER OF THE YEAR

The trophy cabinets of truck dealerships around the country must be bulging at the seams as week after week manufacturers announce their round of  Dealer of the Year Awards.

The latest to announce its top dealerships is Hino which held its awards ceremony in Sydney last Saturday night.

The main gong at the Hino ‘OSCARS’ went to Melbourne’s Prestige Hino in Dandenong which won Metropolitan Dealer of the Year for the third year in a row while West Orange Motors took out Regional Dealer of the Year.

Prestige Hino Dealer Principal Angelo Valerio said it was an honour to receive the award.

“For Prestige Hino, 2017 was not about winning anything – it was about setting goals to evolve the company into the 21st century , which didn’t come without its challenges, but amazingly, we were also ticking all the boxes at the same time which led us to make industry history with our third Hino Dealer of the Year award in a row,” said Mr Valerio.

“This award has motivated our staff even further to be the best they can be for both Hino and Prestige Hino – I have to pinch myself when I think I’m leading such a passionate, driven and focused group of individuals who ultimately work together to form an unstoppable team.”

West Orange Motors Dealer Principal Aaron Daniel credited his team’s hard work with the exceptional result.

“We are extremely proud to receive this award which is an amazing recognition of the strong team work, effort, and dedication of all our staff!” said Mr Daniel.

The top individual honour of 2017 Salesperson of the Year was awarded to Robert Tot (WA Hino Sales & Service).

CMI Adelaide was successful for the second straight year in receiving the Customer Experience award, with West Orange Motors and Johnson’s Truck and Coach Service, Mildura also achieving awards in this category.
