Scania and its parent, the Traton Group has made a big splash in China this week , unveiling what it calls its “Next Era” which it describes as a prime mover product range built in China for the world’s largest truck market.
With a truck that displays styling and logis that are more “Chinese then the Chinese”, Scania hopes to grab a big slice of the largest truck market in the World

The new trucks will be produced at Scania’s industrial hub in Rugao and marketed through its dedicated Next Era sales network, which is independent of the group’s existing sales channels.
