NEW PALACE FOR ISUZU EMPIRE

Construction is about to begin on a state of the art new headquarters for market leader Isuzu.

Located in the epicentre of Melbourne’s western transport corridor in Truganina, the new 21,000 square metre head office will bring all of the brand’s operations, including its customer service, parts and training divisions, under one roof.

According to Isuzu Australia Limited’s chief operating officer Phil Taylor, the new facilities will equip the market leader for the years to come.

“It’s becoming more and more critical to have our whole team working together efficiently and in a location where we can provide the best possible service to our customers,” Taylor said.

“The new development will ensure Isuzu’s expanding requirements are aptly catered for, as we grow from strength-to-strength in the coming years.

“The state of the art facilities will perfectly reflect our operations in the future – as Isuzu aims to continue improving on 28 consecutive years of market leadership.”

The new location will allow Isuzu Trucks to streamline and optimise coordination between business operations while continuing to develop innovative technology for the Australian road transport sector.

The 15-acre site will house Isuzu’s national head office, administration and sales departments, a showroom, engineering and parts facilities, as well as its off-highway engines team and a purpose-built training centre.

Isuzu expects to move in next January.
