Volvo Group Australia has announced an expansion of dealer network with its VCV operation expanding into the Lismore and Coffs Harbour region on the NSW mood and far North Coast
The dealer principal for Volvo Commercial Vehicle (VCV), Greg Sargeant said the expansion means the dealer is now perfectly positioned to care for customers plying the pacific Highway, which is of course one of Australia’s busiest freight routes.
“With a new state of the art dealership and workshop currently under construction on the Gold Coast and the support of a committed team VCV is ,” said Sargeant.
“We feel the timing of this expansion is perfect for both our customers and our business,” he added.
“We continue to invest heavily in our dealer network to ensure we can deliver the best possible solutions and outcomes for customers across all three of our brands for the entire length of the Pacific Highway and throughout the Northern Rivers region,” Sargeant added.
“This expansion, which is effective immediately, represents an exciting opportunity for our business and our customers and we remain committed to investing in our network to ensure we deliver the best possible solutions and outcomes across all three of our brands,” he said.
Sargeant said that he thanked the Southside Trucks team for its support over many years as part of this transition,” Sargeant conformed.
VCV said that its customers based in the Coffs Harbour region will also have the additional support of Coffs Harbour Diesel Service to augment the VCV breakdown and service team.
Volvo said that the all-new VCV Gold Coast site is expected to be fully operational by mid-2027.
