Leading commercial vehicle parts supplier Whites Diesels has announced a new, more streamlined centralised warehouse model to deliver what it claims will be OE quality and  aftermarket parts delivered overnight to most of its customers in Australia.

Whites say the change will bring some significant benefits to its customers including better consistency in parts supply, higher stock holding, next day delivery and in some cases same day delivery of parts, as well as lower freight costs.

 It says that with reduced operating costs it will now be able to offer a very competitive pricing structure across its full range of OE and aftermarket parts.

“The change also means a change from local branch warehouses, except in Townsville, to sales offices with dedicated parts specialists focused on customer needs and ensuring you get the right part the first time and when you need it,” said  the company statement.

 “Pickup from the branches will be no longer available from the start of 2019,” it added.

 “The team at Whites Diesels has a well-earned reputation of being able to identify and deliver the hard to get parts, as well as having the fast moving ones. New supply chain efficiencies now means everyday low prices for Whites Diesels customers which includes a price match guarantee,” it says.

The company says It is expected that customers will not notice any change during this transition which will occur over the Christmas shutdown period.
