X-WAY DO I GO? IVECO OFFERS TWO YEARS FREE SERVICE ON FLAGSHIP MODELS

Iveco  has announced  that for a limited time it is including two years or 250,000 kilometres (whichever comes first) of servicing for customers who purchase new X-Way prime mover models.

Iveco says the offer applies to all prime movers including 6×4 AD, AT and AS variants, as well as its recently released B-Double model.

Iveco Group’s head of network, product and marketing for Australia and New Zealand, Ella Letiagina, said the X-Way prime mover range was ideal for a wide selection of inter and intrastate applications.

“With a full gamut of safety features, three cabin choices, three Euro 6 engine options and GCM ratings of 60 and 70 tonnes, X-Way prime movers are well suited to both single trailer and B-Double work,” Ms Letiagina said.

“The Iveco range is also highly regarded for its comfort, low fuel use and general low whole of life benefits – this offer further adds to the trucks’ appeal with a complementary servicing element, which we know will be well received by buyers.

“We have X-Way prime movers in stock and ready for work, which will also appeal to fleets who are having issues in meeting the increased demand of a growing freight task.”

The company says its prime mover range is equipped with advanced 11 and 13 litre Euro 6 engines, with three power options including a 460hp and 2150Nm, a 510hp and 2300N  version and the range-topping 550hp with 2500Nm variants, as featured in the new AS 550 B-Double.

The company says other driveline benefits include fitment of the HiTronix 16-speed automated manual transmission.

Elsewhere, the X-Way prime mover range also features rear 8-bag Electronically Controlled Air Suspension for a smoother ride, as well as Meritor differentials with driver-controlled locks.

Safety equipment across the X-Way prime mover product line-up includes standard equipment of an EBS Electronic Braking System with Brake Assistance System (BAS), Electronic Stability Program (ESP), Hill Holder, Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Advanced Emergency braking System (AEBS) as well as daytime running lights and an extended catwalk with the company saying additional optional safety equipment can also be specified.

Iveco says that for fleet buyers, the X-Way range is also equipped with its Iveco Telematics as standard, with a complementary 12 months’ program subscription, allowing them to monitor all facets of vehicle and driver performance.
