South Australian based truck business, Adelaide Trucks and Vans (ATV) has announced a $2 million expansion of its fleet, adding nine new trucks which it says will boost its delivery capacity and provide customers with enhanced flexibility, efficiency, and service.
The latest fleet upgrade, which will take ATV’s total fleet to 60, supports its continued growth and its commitment to meeting what the company calls “the evolving needs of sectors including construction, wine, timber and board, infrastructure and general freight”.
ATV’s new trucks include six Fuso Canter 815s, comprising four tautliners and two refrigerated trucks, with the latter to further underpin and grow ATV’s support of South Australia’s food and beverage industry.
The company has also purchased two 18T Fuso tautliners and two truck-mounted Loadmac forklifts, enhancing service for sectors such as the building supply industry by providing greater flexibility and efficiency when delivering products directly to building sites.
The company will also add a new prime mover to its fleet this year.
Ten ATV drivers are now qualified to operate the forklifts with more drivers to complete their training in coming months.
ATV managing director Mansij Bhan said the fleet investment is a further example of the company’s dedication to providing leading transport solutions for its customers across multiple sectors.
“Since launching in 2021, ATV has rapidly expanded from just one truck to become the largest supplier of rigid tray tops in South Australia,” said Bhan.
“Our newest investments will significantly increase our capabilities by allowing us to better serve existing customers and capitalise on new opportunities and sectors.
“In particular, we see huge scope for ATV to introduce our leading transport solutions into regional communities filling a gap left by the closure of many small transport operators.
“With our new Loadmac capability, we can provide a cost-effective, all-in-one solution for the efficient and safe delivery and distribution of goods and services when and where they are needed.”
Bhan said the transport sector was facing increasing challenges due to rising costs and the ongoing global trade uncertainty.
“However, we believe it is during these times that we must continue to invest in our customers’ needs to secure our shared long-term success, even when the environment is tough,” he said.
ATV claims it is committed to the safety of drivers and the goods they carry with all trucks equipped with state-of-the-art fleet management technology.
Adelaide Trucks and Vans was launched in 2021 out of Bhan’s passion for excellence in logistics.
Bhan’s said it was his vision to revolutionise the transport industry by prioritising efficiency, reliability, and sustainability, that led him to recognise a gap in the market to establish a transport company that not only delivered goods on time but upheld the highest standards of service and integrity.
ATV claims it caters to a diverse range of industries, from timber and boards to steel and building industries and infrastructure projects.
