Volvo Group Australia has announced it hs appointed Michael Bridge to the newly created role of director of national fleet with the company claiming the position hs been created in an effort to further reinforce its customer-centric approach to fleet account management,
“This new strategic role is aimed at providing our fleet customers with a level of service that puts their success front and centre like never before,” said vice president of sales and marketing for Volvo Truck Australia, Tom Chapman.
“Michael brings with him an extensive history of providing class leading solutions for commercial vehicle customers and an admirable ability to build proactive and productive industry relationships,” Chapman said.
“Michael will work with our fleet Key Account Managers across all three of our brands to support and streamline our customer’s day to day dealings with VGA,” he continued.
“We pride ourselves on our dedication towards customer success and this new role will only serve to move the needle even higher for our fleet customers,” he said.
Volvo says that Michael Bridge joined company as a key account manager in 2021, with a background in fleet account management, sales management, operations and logistics as well as truck sales.
