CUMMINS CEO EXCITED BY BRIDGING SOLUTIONS

The big boss of powertrain giants Cummins says she’s proud of the work the business has done so far to help operators reduce their carbon emissions.

Jennifer Rumsey is the President and CEO of Cummins (pictured above), she’s been with the business for 25 years and says in her time at Cummins the emissions from their products have dropped 95%.

But speaking at an event that included an audience of both Cummins customers and distributors earlier this month, Rumsey said the biggest changes and challenges are still coming.

She told the gathering that the entire business is focused on innovating and advancing and that it will be a long journey to decarbonization.

But, in the meantime, she says bridging technologies such as natural gas and Hydrogen are helping with those shifts to zero emissions.
