As Paccar prepares to launch its much anticipated, heavily upgraded Kenworth K Series cab over models, it has announced that long time sales and marketing director, Brad May will move into the role of director of product planning and chief engineer, taking over from Noelle Parlier, who is returning to her native USA.
Brad May has been with Paccar for close to 30 years, and for the last six years has been the director of
sales and marketing taking over that role from the company’s current managing director, Andrew Hadjikakou in 2016.
The popular and respected Noelle Parlier is returning to America to take up the role of director of product planning for Kenworth, based at Paccar HQ in Seattle.
Since joining the PACCAR subsidiary operation in 1993, Brad May has held a range of roles including national sales manager of Kenworth, product development manager and aftersales manager.
As the new chief engineer, May will now be responsible for planning and managing Paccar Australia’s engineering, after sales and product development activities.
Combined with his passion for the industry and strong relationships with dealers and customers, he has successfully implemented many projects and improvements throughout his career.
As well as being in charge of the launch of the upcoming K Series make over, May has been responsible in recent times for the introduction of the highly successful and well received wide-cab Kenworth T610 and T410s, as well as sell out Kenworth Legend SAR Anniversary Edition. The Legend SAR had a strictly limited window which gave customers just 24 hours to place their order, with buyers placing 750 placing confirmed orders in one day.
