PACCAR PACKS SOME PUNCH WITH ITS ‘WORLD’ FAIR AT BRISBANE SHOW

Paccar Australia will again be the headline act at this year’s Brisbane Truck Show revealing it will have a massive 12 truck Kenworth and DAF display across its ‘Paccar World’ display at the biennial truck show next week.

Paccar Australia’s director sales and marketing, Brad May, said  that truck buyers are looking for a total ownership solution from their commercial vehicle supplier.

“The road transport industry is very competitive, and owners of Kenworth and DAF trucks need exceptional products that are supported by a complete range of services, which allow them to focus on their core businesses,” Brad said.

“Paccar dealerships are ‘one-stop’ trucking outlets – where we can connect operators with the right products and finance solutions and properly support them with the highest quality parts and servicing once on the road.

“The Paccar World stand at this year’s Brisbane Truck Show again reflects this holistic approach and patrons will see truck and engine displays, as well as have access to Paccar Financial and PacLease experts, Parts and Service personnel and the much loved Paccar merchandise range.”

Kenworth will be launching the new T410 and T360 models in a range of configurations demonstrating what it says is another example of the benefits of local Australian application-engineering for Australian road transport operators,

Along with  the new T360 and T410 the stand will also feature both the  T610 and T610SAR, which have seen great success and customer acceptance since their release in December 2016. The T610 including the new 600mm sleeper and the T610SAR and its new 1400mm sleeper, showcasing the diversity of the sleeper range in this award-winning model.

Rounding out the Kenworth display will be the incomparable K200 with a 2.8m sleeper cab and the Cummins X15 Euro 6 engine and the iconic T909 with a 1270mm sleeper, a real home away from home.

Across the European divide Paccar will fearture the DAF line up, with the FTT CF85.510 taking pride of place, a truck which is now proudly locally assembled at the Paccar production facility in Bayswater. The decision to locally assemble the FTT CF85 will in time, according to the company, allow it the opportunity to provide DAF customers with higher levels of customisation through local engineering input and greater cost savings through local parts sourcing.

The DAF display will also feature the Euro 6 FA LF260 12T and FA LF290 18T 4×2 cab/chassis models, which were introduced to the Australian market in late 2018.

Also on the stand will be the flagship FTT XF105.510 ad rounding out the stand will be the FAD CF85.510 8×4 cab/chassis. The FAD configuration has a four axle, rigid body-builder friendly platform on which to build specialist bodies to suit concrete pumper, vacuum, crane, tanker and tipper applications.

“The introduction of the Euro 6 model and the availability of the locally-assembled DAF FTT CF85 will see DAF continue to grow and demonstrate its strength to the market,” says Paccar.

The company also says that Paccar Financial consultants will be at the Brisbane Truck Show explaining the various finance options to customers with a view to making financing easy-to-understand and guiding them towards the best financial solution for their particular circumstances, while its PacLease arm will also have a presence on the stand.

Along with all that the parts arm, Paccar Parts Australia, will showcase a selection of its extensive range. In addition, visitors will have the opportunity to customise their own ‘virtual’ T610 SAR in real-time using the Paccar Parts T610 SAR Accessories configurator.

As an added benefit to drivers of pre-owned Kenworth trucks, Paccar Parts has developed the ‘Register your Rig’ program that gives pre-owned Kenworth drivers an opportunity to access special offers and keep updated on the latest news by registering their details.

If that is not enough the ever popular Paccar Merchandise Stand will be bigger than ever filled with Kenworth and DAF branded merchandise ranges have clothing and accessories for the most loyal of fans.

Recognising that the Brisbane Truck Show can be a ‘big day’, the Paccar World stand will also feature a café area where visitors can take a quick breather and enjoy a coffee.
