ROYANS ACQUIRES COACHWORKS

Major heavy vehicle accident repair specialists Royans has announced it has acquired Brisbane based bus and coach specialists, Coachworks.

Coachworks has more than 30 years in operation and according to Royans is an industry leader specialising in the repair and refurbishment of buses and coaches with services including accident repairs, refurbishment, retrofitting, refinishing, mini bus conversions and spare parts Sales.  Scott Isaacs will continue to manage the business and Royans says. that Coachworks customers can expect to receive ‘the same personal local service from the whole Coachworks team’.

Coachworks is located in Acacia Ridge and provides Royans with a second Brisbane metro location 20 minutes away from its Wacol branch.

According to Royans this now provides customers with three specialised workshops in Brisbane following the recent construction of a dedicated light – medium truck repair workshop at the Wacol site, in addition to its existing large truck & trailer accident repair workshop.

 Coachworks occupies a 3500 sq m of workshop including three spray booths and a smaller parts booth that make up the paint shop, there are three additional workspaces equipped to specialise in accident repairs and refurbishment, manufacturing and mini bus conversions and retrofitting and project works as required by the industry. The capability of the business is underpinned by the 55 staff members who cover many trades and years of experience specifically in the bus and coach industry.

“We have long term experience with bus and coach accident repairs throughout our network, and we can now build on that with the expertise Scott and the Coachworks team bring to Royans,” Church added.

 Royans claims  to be  Australia and New Zealand’s largest transport accident repair specialists having been established in Sydney in 1944.

The company now has 13 branches with a team of more than 300 experienced specialist repairers and professional staff and a rich history dating back more than 75 years.

 Royans has been on the acquisition path for the past 12 months or has grown its network, from branches in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Wagga, Dubbo, Newcastle and Wodonga, to now include established workshops in Dandenong, Mascot, Townsville, Shepparton and in Auckland.
