SYDNEY TRUCKFEST STARTS TOMORROW

There are not many truck shows still on the calendar in Sydney…unfortunately, so when one comes up it’s always worth getting along.

If you can, why not visit the Truckfest Show in the North-West corner of Sydney this week?

Opening tomorrow (May 3) and running until Sunday, Truckfest Sydney is being held at the Hawkesbury Showgrounds in Clarendon.

Tickets are now available for the three-day show via the Sydney Truckfest website.

Speaking of that website, here’s a bit more info from the show organizers on how it came about, and what you can expect.

“Truckfest is the brainchild of Brendon Ryan and Bruce Gunter, the duo behind the Copy Southbound Podcast, and, with numerous successful events behind them, the thought to fix the truck show drought in New South Wales became evident and the decision was made to try and reinvent Sydney’s iconic truck show scene.”

The boys plan to make it a biennial event and say they were looking to back NSW truck industry businesses.

“We want to support the local dealers, manufacturers, body builders and services associated with the road transport industry.

“We want to see the producers and suppliers of accessories and equipment given a chance to showcase their wares. For businesses based in NSW, the only way to show their products is to travel interstate and for the potential buyers, they’ve been left with the same option.”

Good luck to the show organisers and we hope you have an enjoyable time if you do get out to it…looking at Sydney’s weather forecast though over the next few days you might want to take an umbrella!
