MACK RECALLS MORE THAN 1300 TRUCKS DUE TO ELECTRICAL FAULT

The ACCC has announced the Volvo Group has issued a recall for  more than 1300 Mack trucks, built between 2008 and 2019 because of a potential electrical problem that could shut the truck down without warning while in operation

The potential loss of electrical power could cause the truck to shut down completely and may increase the risk of an accident and could result in serious injury to vehicle occupants and other road users according to the notice on the ACCC website.

Affected owners will be contacted by email and advised to contact their nearest Volvo Group dealer to arrange for an inspection and repair the vehicle if required.

The recall involves a total of  1 353 affected vehicles including 2009 to 2019 Mack CSM Metroliner,  2008 to 2019 Mack CMM Granite, CMH Trident and CLX Superliners and 2008 to 2016 CXX Titan models
