In our latest video review. we took Scania’s 13 litre R540 for a 500 km run that tested out the fuel efficient and gutsy ‘small block’ six cylinder Swede on the climb to Goulburn and back pulling a B-Double grossing more than 50 tonnes.
The R540, is the most recent upgrade to the Swede’s 13 litre six cylinder, delivering another 40hp and 150Nm over the previous top spec for the 13 litre as well as matching the torque of the bigger 16 litre 520hp Scania . It is an impressive truck so tune in and see what we think.
