With the truck dealer of the year award season in full swing it was the turn of DAF dealers to gather together to honour its top performers  at Paccar Australia’s recent Dealer of the Year event.

Paccar Australia announced that Melbourne based DAF dealership, CMV Kenworth DAF Hallam was  its 2025 DAF Dealer of the Year, making it the third time it has captured the top accolade in the Australian DAF ecosphere since its introduction in 2002.

CMV Kenworth DAF Hallam’s executive general manager, Matthew Keene accepted the award which Paccar explains, acknowledges dealer performance across all areas of the DAF business.

Paccar says that the long serving and highly experienced sales team at Hallam excels in developing new customers while at the same time cultivating and strengthening existing relationships.

The company says that part of this success is due to a determined focus on the importance of internal cross-functional co-operation and that it is a credit to the organisation.

Paccar Australia’s director  of sales and marketing, Michael Long presented the Dealer of the Year trophy to Matthew Keene and , congratulated him for this achievement, crediting the team for its outstanding performance

“CMV Kenworth DAF Hallam continue to demonstrate a drive to deliver an excellent customer experience to our DAF customers,” said Long.

Keene expressed his gratitude to his winning team, saying that he was thrilled to accept this award on behalf of the team.

“We are extremely passionate about the brand with great salespeople who live and breathe DAF,” Keene said.

“What I love about this award is that it’s a true team effort and that it recognises the way we support our customers through the sales process, but importantly afterward through service, parts and PacLease for a great customer experience, so I couldn’t be prouder,” Keene said.

The CMV Group  was first established in 1934 and is  proudly Australian  and family owned, and these days now runs substantial operations in automotive dealerships and agriculture in South Australia and Victoria. The he CMV Group employs more than 2,000 personnel across its operations.

The CMV Kenworth DAF Hallam dealership services Victoria’s second-largest transport hub, in Melbourne’s south-east and became a subsidiary of the CMV Group in 1999 while it was appointed a DAF dealer in 2003.
