SENTINEL GIVES LAZER LAMPS A BROADER FOCUS TO ROUND OUT ITS RANGE

Automotive lighting company, Lazer Lamps, has announced it is breaking out  of the bar, the light bar that is, by launching its first every round LED light, to augment its extensive range of advanced LED light bars.

Since  the company was started  back in 2010 Lazer has produced light bars exclusively, capturing a strong market share across all sectors with innovative designs and superior performance and on the back of success in motor sport, particularly with the Toyota Gazoo Racing Le Mans team, which used  Lazer to win the famous 24 hour race last weekend in France.

The new Lazer Sentinel is  the first foray into producing a ‘conventional’ round lamp combine distinctive high-end product design, with superior lighting performance and build quality.

The Lazer Sentinel  is a range of  9“ round driving lamps available in either Standard or Elite grades, with the Elite model featuring a sleek black appearance and 32 high power LEDs in and 20 LEDs in the Standard model. The Elite emits 15,232 lumens and delivers 1 lux of light to 742m, while the Standard models emit 9,529 lumens and 1 Lux at 700 metres.

However Lazer says  it is the 52 degree horizontal spread of light, and visibility at the sides of the road in the mid to long-range that marks both models of the Sentinel as something special in an auxiliary light.

The Sentinel range features colour temperature of 5000K, which Lazer says is a feature of all its lights  because of its easy on the eye, while maximising sharpness and definition of objects ahead.

Lazer says that  the Sentinel is available in either a black or a chrome variant, with the stealth design of the black achieved by using black printed circuit boards and a black bezel feature with an intricate hexagonal design for a unique, contemporary appearance. The chrome variant utilises white Printed Circuit Boards, coupled with a chrome bezel.

Both versions have the option to connect white or amber position/side light function, for an even more distinct look.

The aesthetic appearance of the lamp is enhanced by an automotive-grade pre-treatment before being powder coated satin black, with a ‘slim’ diecast aluminium mounting bracket,. An alternative ‘wide’ mounting bracket, along with a range of lens covers, stay bar kits, and anti-theft fasteners, are available as optional accessories.

The lamp is UNECE approved to Regulation 112 as a high beam driving light, through adoption of Lazer’s dual output E-Boost technology; operating at 100% the light output is beyond the permissible limit of the ECE regulations, so removing the supplied Boost Cap from the back of the lamp reduces the light output to be within the allowable limit.

As with all Lazer products, the Sentinel lamps have been designed, engineered, and are manufactured in-house, in the UK. There is no compromise in regards component parts, or build processes to achieve a superior product, while simultaneously ensuring that more than ever, environmental stewardship and an ambitious carbon-reduction program have also featured heavily in the Sentinel products design and build.

All Lazer Lamps are designed and manufactured in the UK and feature an optimised heatsink for improved thermal dynamics, as well as over voltage and reverse polarity protection, with an  ‘Unbreakable’ polycarbonate lens using a hardcoat lacquer. They are fitted with A2 stainless steel fasteners  are rated at IP68 watertight, meaning that they can survive a 1.5m submersion  for 30mins.

They are supplied with pre-wired male/female 2-pin Superseal connectors and come with a five-year warranty.

Lazer Lamps set up an Australian subsidiary in 2019  with a full warehouse and after sales back up for Australian customers.
